AdvancedDisplay

FunctionMetaSince 4.0Edit on Github

The AdvancedDisplay specifier hides the pins for the specified function parameters from the function node by default. The function node will then contain a toggleable arrow at its bottom that, when clicked, will show all AdvancedDisplay parameters.

The specifier accepts two types of values: a list of strings and a number. To demonstrate, consider the following function.

UFUNCTION(...)
void Foo(int A, int B, int C, int D, int E);

With the first method, explicitly identify the parameters that you want to be hidden by name and separate each parameter with a comma. The following will hide parameters B, D, and E only.

UFUNCTION(Meta=(AdvancedDisplay="B, D, E"))
void Foo(int A, int B, int C, int D, int E);

With the second method, state the index (assuming zero start) of the first parameter that you want to hide. This will hide that parameter and all following parameters. The following will hide parameters C, D, and E.

UFUNCTION(Meta=(AdvancedDisplay="2"))
void Foo(int A, int B, int C, int D, int E);
